Stare Powązki is open for self-guided visits during the cemetery's opening hours. To help you discover the rich history and heritage of Stare Powązki, we offer educational materials, a smartphone app and other resources for free download on the Stare Powązki website.
Cemetery gates
summer season: 7:00 – 20:00
winter season: 7:00 – 18:00
In cooperation with the City of Warsaw, we offer students in the upper grades of primary school and secondary school the opportunity to book a lesson.
You can choose from the topics in the teaching guide to Stare Powązki, "Lessons in Remembrance", additional topics available on the Foundation's website, or a general tour. School groups taking part in lessons are subject to the rules available on the Foundation's website.

Participation in the walks is free of charge. Individuals or schools interested in taking part in the lessons must make a reservation using the booking form.
Available dates can be checked in the form.
We provide downloadable educational materials, organized by topic and comprehensively developed as complete lessons. The lessons can be taught independently or selected as a lesson topic at Old Powązki Cemetery with our guide.
